When it came time to negotiate, Kathy would gently offer advice, but was very willing to go with how I (the client) wanted to proceed. That said, when I received the inspection reports, from excellent folks Kathy recommended, I requested a substantial price reduction two times what the estimates were for repairs. Kathy was able to convince the sellers, who were also representing the property, to agree to this. Ultimately, the sellers drug their feet and slowed down the entire purchase process and escrow period. So much so that the entire period was close to 6 weeks or more. Kathy was successful in shielding me from the sellers so I could enjoy a pre-planned European vacation during that time where she knew I was planning to get engaged. To summarize, Kathy communicates well, offers her opinion, and looks out for her client's best interests.
